Locum Tenens Staffing
Finding a staffing partner that can supplement your ongoing physician recruitment and health care staffing needs is not only strategic, but also an integral component to ensure a successful medical staff development plan.
Utilizing a locum tenens physician to address your ongoing staffing needs will support and enhance your overall recruiting strategy as well. Recruiting a permanent physician can and often is a very time consuming and lengthy process. A locum tenens physician enhances the marketability of your recruitment while at the same time protects from the loss of your patient population. In many cases, the locum tenens physician becomes the permanent physician you have been looking for.
What To Expect?
The quality of our physicians and the service we provide is what builds value into the fees that we charge. We do not want to be just another locum tenens company — we want to be your agency of choice. We know we have competition and that our performance is key to your continued interest in utilizing our services. For this reason, we have established several operating requirements that must be used by our staffing professionals on every assignment we contract to service. They are as follows:
- Quality Control: Each provider is fully credentialed by Harris Medical prior to the Physician providing services for you. This includes a National Practitioner Data Bank report, malpractice history and verification of all active / inactive state license. We also require at least 3 peer references from associates the Physician has worked with in the past year.
- Communication: You will have a single point of contact to work with for the life of your contract with Harris Medical. We think relationships are important as is our ability to understand your needs. We want you to have confidence in the staffing professional you work with.
- Knowledge: With over 70 years in health care staffing, we have seen and learned much. We can respond to the biggest challenges with a depth of knowledge that is solution oriented. Our experience will be a great asset and resource as you endeavor to achieve your staffing goals
Harris Medical requires only a signed agreement with fees being due contingent on our successful recruitment and scheduling of a locum tenens physician. We take care of the malpractice, provider pay, housing and travel requirements for you. You can expect a “turn-key” service so you can focus on other issues.
