Harris Medical Associates is seeking Psychiatric Physician to provide Locums:
Specialty: Psych(BC/BE w/in 5 yrs of completing Residency)Hospital: 18 Bed Geri Psych Unit
Dates coverage: 12/22 – 1/3 (12/22 is a training day)
8A – 5P Monday – Friday
Rounds on the Unit 16 – 18 patients
Consults (averages 0 – 3 per day)
Group Therapy in the afternoon in the on-site Clinic (located through a doorway off the Geri Psych Unit)
This Group Therapy runs 2 hours per day – Mon – Fri
3 days per week they may need to meet individually with group patients for Med Management – approximately 15 minutes per and approximately 3 – 5 of these patients per week
Call is Phone only on Weeknights and 24 hours call – Phone only on Weekends.
Rounds Only on Saturdays (approximately 4 hours)
